Inflatable Floor with Integrated Seat

NEW FOR 2019

Need more flotation or a spare floor? The Inflatable Floor with Integrated Seat is engineered to run whitewater while keeping you on top of the water. Reinforced to survive dogs, fish hooks, or boots, the Diamond Ripstop Nylon material tapers from a 7in (17.8cm) seat to a 4in (10.2cm) floor and attaches to the stern of the packraft with a 1” piece of webbing. The Inflatable Floor with Integrated Seat comes standard with the Nirvana Self-Bailing and Recon packrafts but is an option for Rogue or Nirvana Spraydeck paddlers who don’t mind extra weight and want an extra chamber of air. The floor also integrates with our Feather PumpInflation Bag, and Inflation Tube.

The inflatable floor provides additional height for the paddler to sit higher and take deeper more effective paddle strokes. It also creates a more rigid floor structure which helps the packraft track straighter and move more efficiently across the water.

HOW TO INSTALL

  1. Set your Leafield D7 to Open and inflate the floor about 80% using your Inflation Bag or Feather Pump.

  2. Quickly switch the valve to Closed to avoid losing too much air.

  3. Install the floor by running the 1in (2.5cm) webbing through the buckle in the rear, inner-cockpit area of the packraft.

  4. Infate the rest of the way using your Inflation Tube or mouth (if necessary)

NOTE: Be sure to temper your floor by soaking it in water after installation and then inflating again with your Inflation Tube. After about 15 minutes, add a bit more air. When you get off the river on very hot days, be sure to let some air out in order to reduce stress on the seams.

CARE

Remove from packraft. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Roll up loosely (but don’t let go). Store in a climate controlled, low UV environment.
